Spotty Collared Sweater

This is a vintage knitting pattern the absolute cutest little sweater with short sleeves and a peter pan collar, and dots all over in stranded colourwork. The pattern is taken from Sun Glo series 47. This book is from the 1940s and featured women’s garments, mostly sweaters and tops. 

This pattern is made to fit a 32-34 inch bust, with instructions for a 36 inch bust.

Materials required:

• 5-7 skeins Sun-Glo Shrinkproof 3-ply fingering weight wool. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 7 stitches x 9 rows for 1 x 1 inches. 
• Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm.
• Knitting needles size UK 12/2/75mm.
