Neat Ribbed Sweater

This pattern is for a short sleeved sweater with a large rib over the whole pattern, and a press stud back neck closure. I love the way this pattern is styled with a collar and riding pants. This listing is for a PDF digital download for a women's vintage knitting pattern taken from the pattern book 'Sun-Glo Summer Knitteds Series 44'. The book this pattern is taken from appears to be c. 1940s, and is called 'Open Air'. 

The size is for 32/34 inch bust but also includes instructions for modifying to a 36 inch bust by sizing needles up to UK 8/4mm needles instead of UK 9/3.75mm needles.

Materials required:
- 7 skeins 'Sun-glo' Shrinkproof or Sunbeam 4 ply vintage fingering weight yarn, which can be substituted with modern materials to achieve specified gauge of 13 stitches x 17 rows for 2 x 2 inches.
- Knitting needles size UK 9/3.75mm
- Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm
- 3 press studs
