Diagonal Stripe Sweater

This listing is for a PDF digital download for a vintage knitting pattern taken from the pattern book 'Patons Knitting Book 176'. The book this pattern is taken from appears to be c. 1940s, and the included pattern is for a diagonally striped short sleeve sweater with solid coloured sleeves, press stud closure at the back of the neck, and a lovely rib at the bottom of the bodice. The recommended colours from the pattern are grey, blue and yellow.

This pattern fits a 34 inch bust.

Materials required for Sandra Sweater:
- 4 ozs main and sleeve colour, 2 ozs for each two alternating colours, all in Patons Super Scotch Fingering Wool 3 ply or other substitute to achieve 8 stitches for 1 x 1 inch knitting (slightly stretched as rib is worn).
- Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm
- Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm
