Cotillion Cabled Vest

This is a vintage knitting pattern for a sweet cabled vest - I absolutely love the layered look with that polka dot blouse. The pattern is taken from the Patons & Baldwins Knitting Book No. 182. This book is from the 1940s and featured women’s jumper and cardigan patterns, each named after a style of dance. 

This pattern is made to fit a 34-36 inch bust.

Materials required:

• 5-6 ozs Patons Beehive fingering, 3 ply. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 1 pattern to 1.25 inches in width.
• Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm.
• Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm.
