Caprice Cable and Lace Sweater

This is a super cute little sweater with diamond lace yarn overs on the body, and cabling on the yoke and sleeves. The listing is for a digital download of a vintage knitting pattern, taken from the Patons & Baldwins Knitting Book No. 210. This book is from the early 1940s and featured various women’s clothing items, mostly sweaters and jackets. 

There are two sizes, for a 33 and 35 inch bust. 

Materials required:

• 7-8 ozs Patons Beehive Crepe. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 8 stitches to the inch in width. 
• Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm.
• Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm.  
• Medium size crochet hook. 
• One pair shoulder pads
• 4 buttons.
